Domestic Drones?

The American Civil Liberties Union published this study about the expansion of drones for the purpose of surveillance domestically. Their usage seems so still be limited, and thankfully doesn’t include attack drones, but it still seems like something people should be more aware of. Especially considering the massive lack of regulation about drone usage.

The domestic usage of drones can certainly be incredibly useful– they could help stop crime, they could help GPS systems, and they could help ambulances and other rescue squads get to people in need. But at what cost? It seems that numerous civil liberties could be violated. This may or may not mean that domestic drone usage should be limited. At the very least, it certainly means there needs to be more rules and regulations surrounding their usage.
